PLAYER OVERVIEW
Coen Carr is an elite athlete and a relentless energy player built like a football player. A powerful, long lefty with explosive hops, he overwhelms opponents physically and plays with a motor that never slows down; the kind of junkyard-dog competitor who dives on the floor for loose balls and does the dirty work.
Carr does his damage at and above the rim. He attacks with reckless abandon in transition and off cuts, thrives as a lob threat and offensive rebounder, and finishes putbacks with force. He can bang and fight for position in the post and defends with physicality, effort, and good lateral mobility for his build, fighting through screens and using his length and athleticism to block shots and clean the glass. What he isn't yet is a skilled, finesse scorer: his offensive game is limited, his jumper is a work in progress with a slow release, and he is a tweener positionally. But playing hard is a skill, and Carr has the physical tools and motor to make an impact.
One of the best athletes I've ever seen; his high-flying dunks are jaw-dropping. Developing more offensive skill will be key for him.

EVALUATION
STRENGTHS
Elite Athleticism: Explosive, powerful, and long, with the hops and burst to play well above the rim.
Motor & Toughness: A relentless junkyard-dog competitor who brings hustle, energy, and effort every possession and does the dirty work.
Rim Attacking & Finishing: He’s at his best attacking the rim in transition and off cuts; a big-time lob threat and putback finisher who plays through contact.
Offensive Rebounding: Uses his length, athleticism, and motor to crash the glass and create second-chance points.
Physical Defense: Defends with strength, effort, and good lateral movement; fights through screens and uses his length and hops to block some shots and rebound.
CONCERNS
Limited Offensive Skill: Raw and unpolished offensively; not a finesse or shot-creating scorer at this point.
Shooting: Not a confident or reliable shooter, with a slow release; his jumper is improving but has to keep developing for him to provide spacing.
Positional Tweener: Plays as a forward but may be undersized for the position at the next level, without the perimeter skill to fully shift out.
Half-Court Offense: Limited as a roll threat in pick-and-roll; his offensive value comes from energy and athleticism rather than skill or polish.
BOTTOM LINE
Coen Carr is an elite athlete and a relentless competitor who impacts the game through motor, physicality, and explosiveness rather than polish. He's a high flier who thrives as a lob threat, offensive rebounder, and putback finisher, at his best attacking the rim in transition and off cuts, and he defends with the length, effort, and lateral mobility to make plays on that end. His projection comes down to skill development: he's a positional tweener whose jumper and offensive game must keep progressing for him to carve out a role. But his shot has trended in the right direction, and playing this hard with these physical tools gives him a foundation to build on.
